This Regular License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the Licensor (Producer) and the Licensee (Purchaser).
By purchasing a beat/sound effect through BeatSilo, the Licensee agrees to the following terms:
Grant of License
The Licensor hereby grants the Licensee a regular, non-transferable license to use the purchased beat//sound effect ("Instrumental") under the terms outlined below.
Permitted Usage
The Licensee is permitted to:
Record vocals and create one (1) song using the Instrumental.
Distribute the song for commercial and non-commercial use.
Stream the song on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.
Perform the song live.
Usage Limits
The Licensee may distribute up to:
1,000,000 audio streams (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
1,000,000 video streams (YouTube, etc.)
100,000 physical copies or digital downloads
Unlimited non-profit performances
If these limits are exceeded, the Licensee must purchase a new license or negotiate an upgrade (e.g., Exclusive License).
Ownership and Copyright
The Licensor retains full ownership and copyright of the original Instrumental.
This license does not grant the Licensee any ownership or publishing rights to the Beat/Sound Effect.
The Licensee may not claim production or exclusive rights to the Instrumental.
Credit
The Licensee agrees to credit the producer in all releases as follows:
"Produced by [Producer Name]" or "Beat by [Producer Name]"
Modifications
The Licensee may make reasonable changes to the Beat/Sound Effect (e.g., arrangement, mixing, mastering), but may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Beat/Sound Effect or its derivatives as an instrumental or part of another beat/sound effect pack.
Delivery
Upon purchase, the Licensee will receive:
High-quality MP3 and/or WAV file of the Beat/Sound Effect
PDF copy of this License Agreement
Term & Termination
This license is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
Violation of any terms will result in automatic termination of the license.
No Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once the Beat/Sound Effect is delivered.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensor resides.
By purchasing a beat/sound effect from BeatSilo, you acknowledge and agree to all terms of this Regular License Agreement.
